Job Description:
We are currently looking for a skilled and reliable Automatic Door Engineer to join our dynamic
team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of
automatic doors, ensuring they are fully operational and meet safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain, and repair automatic doors at various customer locations around East
Anglia.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in automatic door systems.
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations and industry
standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate service records and reports.
• Assist with technical support and advice to customers when needed.
• Participate in on-call rotation and emergency call-outs as required.
Key Requirements:
• Proven experience in installing and maintaining automatic doors.
• Strong knowledge of door systems, including mechanical and electrical components.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid UK driving license (required for travel to client sites).
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Relevant qualifications EN16005, CSCS, DBS Clearance Prefered.
• Previous experience with automatic door brands (e.g., Record, Gilgen, Besam, Geze,
Dormakaba, etc.) would be advantageous.
